652-High School Ministry
Description: Our High School Ministry Team is a team of Creeksiders who love God and love teenagers. Everything we do in the High School ministry is based upon mentoring relationships that we develop with our students and those who come to faith through our ministry. Our High School ministry is also a great opportunity for those that have a passion for relational evangelism. Programming and events are a big part of what we do, so all kinds of help is needed to have an excellent ministry.
Ways to Serve
Wednesday Night Small Group Leader: Discipline and lead a small group of students. You will build a long-lasting mentoring relationship with a group of 3-7 students.
One-On-One Disciple: As a disciple you will regularly meet one-on-one with a student and build him/her up in the Lord.
Creative Impact Ministry Leader: Brainstorming, forming and leading a ministry that impacts the youth community in our area for Christ. Ideas include: skateboard ministry, dance ministry, acting ministry, sports ministry, etc...
Event Staff and Parent Staff: Help us to make our events fun, safe, and spiritually fruitful for our students and their friends. Examples include driving students to events, chaperoning trips, helping with planning, food, set up.
Parent Prayer Ministry: Meet with a group of parents that gather to pray for our students, the youth ministry and our schools
Administration Helper: Helping Sean plan large events and trips.
Parent Council Team: This is a team of parents that meets with Sean once a month to discuss the youth ministry, give feedback and ideas and help plan events.
Spiritual Gifts/Talents/Attributes: Pastor-Shepherd, Mercy, Wisdom, Exhortation, Evangelism, Relational, Easy going, Good listener.
