Sean oversees CTY, the high school ministry, at Creekside as well as pastors families in the body. He assists in planning the Sunday morning worship services and assimilation of new visitors through a Young Family Gathering ministry. During his college years, Sean was planning for a professional career in stand up comedy and comedy writing. Phil Herndon, Elder

Phil Herndon has attended Creekside since 2001 and served as an elder since 2004. He, his wife Deborah and their children David and Natalie both in college make their home in Walnut Creek. Phil owns a storage rental company and enjoys a variety of outside interests.
As a minister’s son he came to know Jesus Christ at 8 years old and has through life’s ups and downs never lost that knowledge. Because of God’s grace, life’s challenges and the need to depend on God have only become clearer. In a world where truth is blurred and independence is sought, the need for God is only clearer. Only He provides what we all truly need. As Paul says, (Phil 1:15) “I am out here for the defense of the gospel.” We are all called to show Christ to a lost world.
Paul Vinogradov, Elder

Paul Vinogradov has attended Creekside since 2008 and has served as an elder since May 2011. He and his wife Jana along with their four children (Adrianna, Jessica, Garrett and Tyler) live in Pleasant Hill. Paul works for the Alexander Group and is based out of their San Francisco office. He enjoys playing with his kids, date nights with his wife, coaching and playing soccer, watching baseball, and making new friends or catching up with old ones over a good cup of coffee.
Paul accepted Christ when at the tender age of six through the witness of his Mother. He was raised by a church-going God-fearing Mother and a non-church attending, atheist Father. This dynamic challenged his faith throughout his youth and college years. Through the experience of several overseas missions opportunities, three years as a Young Life leader, and the influence of a couple amazing spiritual mentors, Paul solidified his faith in Christ through his college and early career days. Right after college he worked for a Christian non-profit focused on micro-lending programs in developing countries. He currently sits on the Boards of Decker Communications and EndPoverty.org. He enjoys leading bible studies and accountability groups, teaching, and counseling.
Rhonda Fuery, Women's Shepherding Team

My husband and I have been attending and serving at Creekside Church since 1995. While the body here has changed in many ways during these past 16 years, one thing has remained constant and true…….the head of this body is God and we gather together to grow in our relationship with Him and to spur one another on to love and good deeds.
I, along with 6 other women, form the women’s shepherding team and our role is to oversee, pray for and encourage the women in our body to connect with God and with one another and to use their gifts, talents and passions for God’s glory!
In addition to serving in this way I enjoy hiking, tennis, reading and my favorite type of camping experience……staying in a nice hotel!
