CHIILDREN OF GRACE NAMES PAUL GIBSON

DIRECTOR OF UGANDAN OPERATIONS

Former HP Executive to Expand Non Profit to Serve More Africans Orphaned by HIV/AIDS Pandemic

Danville, CA - July, 2010 - Today Children of Grace (www.childrenofgrace.com), a 501 (c) (3) non-profit formed to offer hope to Ugandan AIDS orphans through education, nutrition, healthcare and empowerment programs, announced the appointment of former HP executive Paul Gibson as its Director of Ugandan Operations.

In this role, Gibson will be located in Uganda, Africa, and will be charged with oversight and expansion of the Children of Grace (COG) ministry. COG was founded in 2001 by San Francisco Bay Area resident Mary Ann McCoy in response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The organization currently serves nearly 700 children orphaned by HIV/AIDS, providing school fees, health care, life skills and leadership programs to sponsored children.

"Paul is an adept manager and has a keen understanding, from first-hand experience, of the challenges and opportunities COG faces on the ground in Uganda," said McCoy. "His experience will be integral to growing the organization to serve more children, while strengthening and adding programs that enable them to survive and thrive in an impoverished country. I am delighted that he is taking the helm of COG Uganda, and am confident that the organization will flourish under his leadership."

In Uganda, as elsewhere in sub-Saharan Africa, AIDS has caused immense human suffering over the past two decades -- setting back development and reducing life expectancy. Over 1.5 million children have been orphaned since the epidemic began -- losing one or both parents to AIDS.

"I am thrilled to take a leadership role in an organization that is so profoundly impacting the lives of children in a region devastated by the HIV/AIDS virus," said Gibson. "I have been privileged to serve on the Board of COG, as well as to spend time in Uganda with the local staff and child mentors. I am anxious to bring my knowledge of the organization and my executive management experience to COG to expand the programs and the number of children served by this incredible organization."

Gibson brings more than 30 years of global corporate executive experience to Children of Grace, along with past service on non-profit Christian school boards. Over the past two years, he and his wife Janet have served on COG's Board of Directors, designed and maintained the non-profit's website, and facilitated COG's marketing and communication goals. The couple and their 14-year-old daughter will re-locate from the Bay Area to Uganda in August 2010. Founder Mary Ann McCoy will remain the organization's CEO and Executive Director.
