Bible Study Resources (Recommendations from Tim)
This is a good one called, “The One Minute Bible for students” –by Doug Fields
Each day this has a verse that could be read in 60 seconds. –along with that, there is a section that gives opportunity for “further study/reading” ...something like that. It also gives a thought or two on the verses. –solid material and great for students beginning to develop daily time in the Bible... with the ability to dig deeper when ready.

This one is called, “Devotion” –by Mike Yaconelli
Looks very well put together... I think anything Mike has written is great. This is a mixture of verses to read, applicable story, and obvious life challenges. Not too long! -Probably very challenging when it comes to the rubber meeting the road.
This one is called, “Creative Times with God” –again by Doug Fields
Kind of a classic in the sense that it has some scripture to read, then there are questions that walk you through the meaning and purpose and helps to relate it to your personal life. –Not a classic in the sense that this is definitely geared toward students and it is not just a verse and ten questions, but a verse and many different styles of questions and journaling opportunities.

This one is called, “Quiet Time “–by Word of Life
This is one that a good friend, Father, and youth ministry leader shared with me. The Concept is great for families! These are written for the separate ages in your family, so
that parents, elementary kids, and teens can be reading their version of the daily devotional, while all are synced up reading the same scripture each day! -Pretty cool! This has a year’s schedule of verses, an explanation/example, and prayer journal.
