A Parent Moment

 

"At 3 yrs. old, I was amazed when my son came home and asked me the question, "what is faith?"  Not having grown up in a Christian home, his question blew me away and I realized for the first time the impact that the leaders and teachers in Children's Ministry at Creekside were having in his life.  He tells me about a story he learned on Sunday like Noah and the Ark and wants me to read it over and over again.  I know that with repetition comes learning but something more than that is happening.  I can take part, along with the teachers/leaders at Creekside, in starting to plant seeds that will contribute to his spiritual growth.  I think it should be a challenge to all of us as parents in the Creekside family to not only be a part of our child's spiritual growth but other children as well.  I encourage you to look at these opportunities below where you might feel led to have an impact on our children in the Creekside family.  You might think that serving only one Sunday a month might not make a difference but believe me, I have been able to witness how it can make all the difference in the world.  God bless our teachers/leaders in this ministry!"

Specific Opportunities:
  • Nursery- 1st and 2nd hour
  • 2's Class- 2nd hour
  • 3's/4's- 2nd hour

(Commitment for classes above is one Sunday a month)

  • Looking for Spring Trimester Teachers/Helpers for Grades K/1st, 2nd/3rd, and 4th/5th from March 6th-May 29th

(Commitment for class above is 13 weeks)

 

 

Additional Opportunities

We have other Sunday morning positions aside from teaching such as checking children into their class in the lobby or helping with room set up. 

We also have many special events throughout the year where you can participate such as the Bethlehem Breakfast, Harvest Festival, Camp Creekside (VBS), Movie Nights, etc.
