Sunday Morning Updates for
Children & Youth Ministries

Dear Creekside Families,

As a leadership team and staff at Creekside, we are constantly praying about how to best shepherd the next generation and partner with you in your child’s spiritual journey.

We love seeing our community grow, and we want to share some intentional updates to our Sunday morning routines. Beginning November 1, 2026, we are shifting our Sunday morning format for elementary-aged students to promote more intergenerational unity. Our heart is to invite kids to experience corporate worship alongside their families, helping them see and feel what it means to praise God as part of the broader church body.

What to Expect Starting November 1st

Nursery & Toddler Classes

  • No Change in Routine: Please continue to use the Children’s Check-In Station in the main lobby.

  • Drop-Off: Walk your infant or toddler directly to their designated classroom before the service starts, just as you do now.

1st through 5th Grade (Elementary)

  • Step 1: Check In: Head to the lobby check-in station as a family to get your child’s name tag and security sticker.

  • Step 2: Worship Together: Instead of heading upstairs right away, your elementary students will join you in the main auditorium. They will sit with you to enjoy the singing, prayers, and family worship time.

  • Step 3: Dismissal to Class: Partway through the service, children will be officially dismissed from the auditorium.

  • Step 4: Heading Upstairs: A teacher holding a grade-specific sign will meet the students in the lobby and safely guide each group upstairs to their appropriate classrooms.

Middle School & High School (Youth)

  • Step 1: Gather for Worship: Students will join their families in the main auditorium for the corporate singing and worship portion of our service.

  • Step 2: Dismissal: At the end of the worship music set, our Middle School and High School students will be dismissed from the front of the auditorium.

  • Step 3: Follow to Youth Room: Students will meet our Student Ministry Director, Jared Dilibero, at the front and follow him upstairs to the Youth Room for their regular lesson and group time.

Why We Are Making This Shift

We believe that corporate worship provides a powerful foundation for a child's faith. By experiencing the music, communion, and prayers with you, our kids catch a glimpse of the church family they belong to.

Thank you for your flexibility, your partnership, and your dedication to raising your kids to know, grow, and go with Jesus. If you have any questions about these logistical changes, please feel free to reach out to any of our ministry leaders on Sunday morning!

Blessings,
